USTA Board of Directors meeting opens
The annual convocation of directors of the United States Trotting Association got underway Sunday afternoon (March 30) in Columbus, Ohio.

William J. “Bill” Perretti, 87, whose entrepreneurial zeal took him from a gas station in Hackensack, N.J., to the plains of a Texas cattle ranch and finally to a showplace Standardbred farm in the rolling hills of central New Jersey, died March 13, 2014.
